The primary goal of the project is to create an innovative recruiting website based on the new Employer Brand strategy of KPMG. It needs to develop the preference for KPMG as a (future) employer and contribute to a positive image.

The secondary goal is to be an inspiration and leading recruitment website for other KPMG locations over the world. The website was nominated for the Werf& awards.

KPMG war room

My Art Director companion and I set up a special KPMG war room where we will be concepting during the first week. It involves understanding the Employer's Brand strategy and researching the sector and audience to understand the needs and behavior. We start doodling, sketching ideas, and solutions, printing the outcomes and hanging them on the wall. Next, we evaluate and test our ideas with a bigger group and pick the best ideas. Time to finalize the concept and create story- and mood boards, look & feel and li-fi prototype. Finally, we present it to the workgroup, and then we'll discuss and modify it to a final concept.





The concept

The concept is a personal and interactive experience with a host leading the visitors through the world of KPMG. Based on the visitor's choices the journey will show different paths and experiences. At the end of the journey, the visitor will be shown a personalized dashboard with diverse content like vacancies, events, and stories that perfectly fit the interests and needs of the visitor.


Proof of Concept

To test the concept we created a click demo with all the possible paths, so we show and test the different experiences. The prototype is widely tested in the KPMG headquarters in Amstelveen. With the incoming test results, we supplied some minor adjustments, created new versions, and tested these versions again until the concept was approved by the workgroup.


Customer journey

There are a lot of different journeys and scenarios, so we created an overview of all the possible journeys. This customer journey overview is a perfect handout for the Copywriter who will write the text and excellent preparation for making a storyboard for the video shoot.





Storyboard

Time to work out the concept, each in their own expertise. The Creative Director will cast actors, locate a studio, create sets and produce costumes. My companion and I will create a storyboard with described scenes and special shots like ‘loading’, the 404, and turn the mobile phone for the best experience. And created interface overlays to determine the position of the actor in front of the screen. 

The production team is a film crew consisting of a director, producer, cameraman, sound designer, and makeup artist. During the day the cast actress performed the scenes, following our storyboard.
